at my command…unleash hell!

…as said by Maximus Decimus Meridius (Russell Crowe for the uninitiated) in Gladiator when standing across from the massive opposing army…feel kinda like that (without the bravado) with what’s in store in the next couple of months J

Term 7 starts tomorrow and what better preparation than to ingest massive amounts of alcohol 😉 the objective of the exercise was to do some final shopping for placement season…K needed a suit, S some shirts and I, to get out of campus. After the mundane activities were done, the crucial decision was between B&C and Liquids. The latter won out because of my recommendation as a slicker joint and the proximity helped. Landed up fairly early there, 10ish, and the folks at the door looked at us as if they’d found something unexpected in their soup. A 3K cover helped ease their pain though. Spent the next 2 hours having margueritas..some sex on the beach (i wish!)..and the usual assortment of screwdrivers and what-have-you. The food was pretty darn good too…the music…very passable. All in all…a darn good time… Am disappointed there’s no hangover to boast of this morning though.

Lots to do this term…not least to leave things behind from the last couple of terms…get cracking on the resumes (for umpteenth time! Can’t believe I’m nagging msyself!)…to handle interviews (somehow don’t think wisecracks will make any recruiters think of me as the answer to their prayers) and yeah…the small matter of figuring out what I want to do J phew…all this planning wears me out…now for limp bizkit and behind blue eyes…
